Welcome to my business .
I have been a Professional Photographer now for the best part of the last 35 years, originally first learning my trade with an excellent professional David Simpson at his studio in Boston, Lincolnshire followed by Grantham College under the tutor of another Professional wedding and commercial Photographer Gordon Arch . naturally progressing into starting my own successful Freelance business in my home town of Sleaford, Lincolnshire. Providing quality work for a wide range of clients from Social Events , Press and Media, Corporate and the Commercial Industry. Along with personal Portraits and Wedding photography with over 300 guests down to a small registrar service with close friends. I truly believe that the communication I establish with all my clients is a key part of providing the best possible service, while just obtaining the best photographic equipment doesn't make you a great Photographer. Listening to you the client and meeting the requirements of the shoot is critical. Looking back over the years I have travelled to some fantastic locations and met some very successful and interesting characters. I wouldn't have been around the industry as long if I hadn't worked with some amazing colleagues , right from the beginning with David Simpson learning about lighting and then on to draw from the experiences of my tutor Gordon Arch at College in Grantham. While Freelancing through the 1990's meeting and working with some incredible Photographers at the Lincolnshire Echo who was amongst some of the top Photographers in the country receiving a multitude of photographic awards between them . Andy Weekes ,Ian Jubb, Roy Ealden, Ben Birchall, Veronique de Viguerie, Anna Draper, Shaun Thompson and Nick Gregory . Eventually moving North to the Hull Daily Mail where yet again the quality of Photographers working there was second to none and the amazing sports in the city brought some exceptional images for everyone in the Photographic team of Rob Stebbing , Jack Harland, Dave Barker, Phil Dawes, Kate Woolhouse, Jerome Ellerby and manager Jim Mitchell. Some of the press trips and locations that gave me some fantastic memories , Arneham 60th anniversary, Dunkirk 60th Anniversary , and Hull city promotion etc. In 2005 I took the position of Picture Editor at The Scunthorpe Telegraph although I still continued to take Photographs it soon became apparent I preferred being out on the road meeting clients and taking the Photographs that can help provide the publicity for business's to make them successful in their chosen industry. In 2010 I re-established my own business once more and have now created a portfolio of clients who require the experience and quality of images that will keep them moving in the right direction for their own success. A outstanding photographic image is now needed more than ever in publicity of a product or professional service , although social media has become king in providing instant publicity its still the image that makes the impact on the page to draw customers in, and with these uncertain times during the Covid 19 Pandemic. I do believe to catapult your business back in to the public eye after lockdown the amount of impact a great Photograph creates will provide a foothold in your chosen circle of business.
