Meeting friends and writing features on a couple of stunning Lambretta's also and possibly meeting up with a scooter club . Lets hope the weather is kind on my trip as it can be unpredictab
Although I photographed many special days for couples throughout the 90's I only do the occasional weddings now days. Today I will be working at Matt and Danielle's big day in Barrow Upon Humber , the sun is out and it looks like it will be a wonderful celebration.
On my first ever visit to the Isle of Man TT week I had a fantastic experience shooting the legends racing around the island roads during the practice nights. As the Racing began over the weekend and through the early stages of this week sad news that riders have lost their lives in crashes. The TT races are unique to the IOM and as long as these incredible sportsman wish to take part then the danger and excitement will be hand in hand with their own performances on the 37 mile circuit. What a great weekend event had by all at the Skegness back to basics weekender , the weather was good and Scooterists turned out from across the country to give Robbo and his team some good support. Take a look at some of my images on my facebook page. Here we go again , the BSSO scooter racing Championship is well and truly started after the first day of the new season took place on the Croft Race Circuit in the north east. Mikey Bonnet started where he finished last season on his group 4 Lambretta first in class for the 1st and 2nd race but know one was gonna catch Stuart day on his Group 6 powered Lambretta useing every piece of tarmac on the fast circuit. Close behind them was the Conneely boys from the DKS team replay garage , Steve , bert and Darren finishing close on the heels of the awesome pair . Well done to everyone who took to the track today , now the first days nerves have gone lets have a great season . Rich |
